  • International Congress of World Federation of Occupational Therapists

It was a real pleasure working with Denise on our recent congress. Not only was it a hugely successful event (everyone is still raving about it) but ‘Team Oz’ enjoyed the camaraderie that was created in the lead up. Denise’s enthusiasm together with her commitment to a successful outcome was evident from the outset, and set a strong foundation for the congress… and our team spirit!

Denise instilled in us a great sense of confidence and comfort. She was very masterful in keeping us on track, giving us advice and recommendations. But at the same time, she was open to our views and ideas about aspects that reflected the culture and values of our members.

Whenever challenges arose, we could rely on Denise to provide solutions, with our best interests in mind. It was comforting to know that everything would be handled competently, efficiently with style and grace!

Her professionalism, commitment to our success and advice were invaluable.

  • First International Symposium on the Sustainable Use of Low Rank Coal

I am writing to thank you for the contribution made by Think Business Events to the success of the First International Symposium on the Sustainable Use of Low Rank Coal, held in Melbourne in April.

The advice and support provided by your organisation was outstanding in its professionalism and the attention to detail given to every arrangement for the event. We are looking forward to working with your organisation again in April 2012, on the Second International Symposium on the Sustainable Use of Low Rank Coal.

  • 5th World Conference on the Promotion of Mental Health and the Prevention of Mental and Behavioural Disorders

Think Business Events combine a professional approach with a friendly likability. The former is crucial in managing budgets and clearly communicating about issues regarding venues or catering. The latter is apparent in how they deal with everyone from service providers to delegates alike.

The two combined explain why they have so much respect in the industry. This respect is easy to see in the faces of others, whether they’ere the audio-visual technicians, venue operators or even other folk who’ve engaged their services for previous conferences.

I highly recommend Think Business Events, use their service and you’ll find your conference-related stress levels dropping instantly.

  • Occupational Therapy Australia – Victoria Conference

It’s been not only educational, but great fun to work with you and your team. Think Business Events has helped elevate the conference to a level the committee could not have achieved on our own.

Thanks for doing such a great streamlined job. I personally appreciated your help.

  • mLearn – 6th International Mobile Learning Conference

Over many years I have organised a range of conferences and events but the 6th International Mobile Conference in Melbourne was a Conference that required the highest level of professionalism at every level from academic to commercial to catering. Think Business Events was recommended to me and from the very outset I felt a very high degree of comfort and confidence in the principals and their team; I would be hard pressed to consider any other conference organisers in the future.

There are a huge range of expected and unexpected issues involved in co-ordinating an International Conference with an organising committee located around the globe and with the core business of the conference being a rapidly technology environment. I was initially impressed by the speed with which Think Business Events took control of the budget and venue thus enabling me to focus on managing sponsors and my colleagues overseas. Every detail was considered and dealt with appropriately and in a timely manner leading up to the conference with regular input on numbers, issues and communication.

During the conference itself, registration was smooth and efficient and delegate feedback was universally positive – the entire ‘buzz’ was a reflection of the fact that delegates were able to concentrate on the content of the event while not being distracted by any administrative difficulties.

I would thoroughly recommend using Think Business Events to any organiser with a forthcoming conference and am happy to be contacted to discuss the service in more detail.

  • Victorian Managed Insurance Authority Conference

I write to thank you for the wonderful work that you and your colleagues have contributed in making the 2011 VMIA Risk Conference such a success.

The Conference provided the opportunity for us to reaffirm our leadership role in promoting risk awareness in the public sector, so that we can all more effectively utilise the State’s assets and resources to benefit Victorians.

I thank you for again assisting us with organising our Conference, from liaising with speakers to preparation and working at the event itself. Feedback about the running of the Conference has been uniformly positive.

Thank you again for contributing to this success

    Jeff Floyd
General Manager, Strategy and Risk, VMIA

  • International Confederation of Midwives

Kim, on behalf of the Board of ICM, I would like to this opportunity to also thank you for your personal contribution to the Congress and helping the Confederation achieve its goal of strengthening the midwifery profession and the role of midwives, in turn helping to improve the health of women and newborns world-wide.

Your continued dedication and commitment over a six year period, combined with the efficient management of the process, contributed significantly to an event which brought together more than 2000 of the world’s midwives. The memories of the congress are still foremost in the minds of all who attended.

Once again, a heartfelt thank you from all at ICM for a job extremely well done!

  • World Meat Congress

Thanks for your valued contribution in making this congress a huge success. The congress represented an opportunity to showcase our industry, and Australia in general, to our international colleagues. Your ideas and recommendations, along with your willingness to respond to committee requests were an integral part of the team’s success. As with any large and complex event, we had the inevitable challenges. These were addressed professionally with outcomes that reflected well both on the congress and the partners. The event produced a pleasing profit and I commend you on the management of the budget. The seamless operation and smooth delivery on site were testament to the huge effort that you and the team expended to get us there.

Thanks for a job well done!
